We have three new classes beginning in January, here at Tang Hall Community Centre.
Firstly, for anyone who has over-indulged during the Christmas and New Year period, we have a new 8-week fitness programme, starting on Thursday January 9th, 6.30pm – 7.30pm.
Entitled ‘A New Year, A New You’, the sessions will include a full body workout, with cardio and strength training, finishing with some mobility exercises.
If that sounds too energetic, be reassured that the programme is suitable for beginners as well as people who exercise regularly. £5 per session, if you would like to come along, register in person at the first class.
Crafting with clay…
Also new for 2020: creative clay workshops from The Creative Studio York, who are running two separate sessions on Tuesdays for adults and children. Both programmes will run for eight weeks, beginning on January 14th.
The adult class will run from 12.30pm to 2.30pm, and will include clay hand building techniques, surface decoration and texture making. FREE to Tang Hall residents, spaces are limited; booking is therefore essential. To secure your place, click here.
The children’s clay course is suitable for 6 to 12 year-olds; this class will run from 3.30pm – 5pm from January 14th 2020 and is, again, FREE to Tang Hall residents. To book a space for your child(ren), click here.
Clay-making could become a whole new hobby for you, or you may just find it something wonderfully fun to do away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Just don’t wait too long to book your place as we expect these classes to fill up quickly!
